![]() ![]() The Regent is a wide space, too, so the sightline is fine even on the side ends. Otherwise anywhere in the stalls up to row F (keeping in mind the numbering system is designed to trick you into thinking you’re closer to the stage than you really are – the first eight rows are AA, BB, CC etc) is always a good bet. However, the theatre got a refurb for Moulin Rouge! The Musical which brought the dress circle forward, making it a pretty good location if you want to take in the production's set. ![]() Traditionally, these were concentrated in the stalls, as close to the stage as possible. ![]() Is that a good seat One of the wonderful things about the Ardis Krainik Theatre is that there. It was designed by Thomas Edward Collcutt and was Grade. Originally built as a Grand Opera House, the auditorium features beautiful Victorian architecture, including a majestic ceiling and proscenium arch which frames the stage. Boxes are also available for private seating.Originally built as a cinema, or “picture palace”, the Regent is a love it or loathe it venue that for ages only had a small number of good seats. My ticket from Stubhub says it is for the First Balcony Row T. The Palace Theatre is located in the middle of Cambridge Circus and is one of the West Ends most prolific buildings. The Balcony has similar obstructions to the Dress Circle, with distant but clean sightlines best in the affordable Center Balcony. Seats here become much more restricted at the sides of the front row, although there are plenty of decent views available. The Dress Circle is one level above, with three sections. The back rows may feel quite distant due to the depth of the auditorium, however. The Orchestra is divided into Left and Right with views best towards the center aisle. The Lyric Theatre is one of the largest venues on Broadway, with around 1,900 seats across three sections. In 2018, the Lyric Theatre’s seating was completely redesigned to welcome the Broadway premier of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child – another Box Office and critical triumph. Since the turn of the century, the venue has become known for its commercially-minded successes including the record-breaking Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark (2010) and Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour (2016). Notable productions at the Lyric Theatre include its inaugural show, Ragtime (1998) and Jesus Christ Superstar (2000). However, its major benefit is a combination of old-school glamor and modern innovation patrons visiting the Lyric Theatre will notice that the auditorium has excellent legroom throughout, impressive acoustics, and is the perfect size for commercial crowd-pleasers. Taking structural elements from each, architect John Belle kept the original Lyric Theatre’s exterior design, alongside Boxes and ceilings from the old Apollo Theatre. ![]() The current Lyric Theatre (originally the Ford Centre for the Performing Arts) first opened in 1998, built from the bones of two earlier Broadway stalwarts. Use our interactive seating chart to view 157 seat reviews and 152 photos of views from seat. Section capacities are 802 Orchestra, 476 Dress Circle and 344 Balcony. The Lyric Theatre has a capacity of 1622 seats. ![]()
